Police seeking out volunteers to help search for Baby Levon

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - The Utica Police Department is looking for volunteers to help out with the search for nine month old Levon Wameling.

UPD is asking any interested volunteers to call (315) 223-3510 beginning Monday morning at 9 a.m. There will be two lists to add your name to. One list is for people who are interested in passing out flyers and the other list is for people who want to help search for Levon.

When you call the number leave your name and number with the officer and when the time comes to help with the search you will be contacted.

The Utica Police Department phone line will be open from 9am - 5pm.

Officials ask that people continue to look on their own properties for anything out of the ordinary.

Levon Wameling was last seen more than two weeks ago. His father Jevon says he left the baby on his front porch on Jay Street and the baby disappeared. Levon's mother was undergoing rehabilitation treatment at the time of Levon's disappearance.
