Remote Control Helicopter Under Recall

The "Thunder Wolf" indoor toy helicopter has a rechargeable battery that can overheat, melting the helicopter's body.

The CPSC has received seven reports of this toy overheating and melting and at least one report of the toy catching on fire. The "Thunder Wolf" helicopter is made of plastic and foam and has "TW0996" printed in its tail.
     
Only the helicopters that do not have "made in china" stamped on the underside of the helicopter are involved in the recall.

Consumers are asked to contact the maker of the toy, Westminster Inc. for a refund.
