Dirt Devil vacuum power brush attachment tools recalled
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a voluntary recall of nearly a million Dirt Devil Vacuum Power Brush Attachment Tools. the CPSC says plastic pieces inside the vacuum tool can break apart and spit out of the attachment, and possibly cut someone. Vacuum tool accessories with date codes J7060 through J7365, which have a C-Clip connector, are the subject of this recall. They were sold at retail stores from April 2007 through April 2008. People who own the attachments should stop using them immediately and contact the manufacturer or dirt devil for a free repair kit.
