Father, prematurely-born daughter talk about giving back on Father's Day

By WKTV News

TABERG, N.Y. (WKTV) - After two years, Marc Daniels, of Lee Center has found a way to give back to the March of Dimes, the organization that he says saved his daughter's life.

Savannah Daniels was born two months prematurely in August of 2011.

Thanks to the research and medical breakthroughs made possible by March of Dimes research, Savannah is a happy health child and will turn two in August of 2013.

Marc saw "Bikers for Babies," and got the idea of "Brakes for Babies," as a way to raise money for research.

For the entire month of June each year, Marc hopes to offer free brakes for customers at Dan's Auto Service, located at 9322 Taberg Florence Road in Taberg.

Customers will pay for labor, but the pads and shoes are free for the month of June.
