Four stores out of mall, four stores to move in
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - Several stores at Sangertown Square mall are on the move as mall officials say they're making way for four new stores, all owned by the same company. Four new stores, all owned by the same international company are set to move in soon: Accessorize, Jennyfer, Sergent Major, and Zippy. That means some other stores have to move out. CaSandra Packard, owner of Dolce Vita Children's Boutique says she harbors no hard feelings because of the move and was pleased to hold her grand re-opening at a new location in the New Hartford Shopping Center on Friday. It was a move Packard said would have been impossible for her without community support. "We started in November in Sangertown Square Mall with a kiosk and we had such a great response from the community, and we moved into a bigger space in Sangertown Square mall," Packard said. "We moved there in February and then the mall needed our space for a bigger store, so we found it here and we love it here already." In addition to Dolce Vita, Game Stop, the Former Kayes and Gertrude Hawk are leaving the mall as well.
