Little league contest to come up with new anti-chewing tobacco slogan

By WKTV News

NEWS YOU CAN USE (WKTV) - Little League players across the nation are being asked to come up with a new slogan to get people to stop chewing tobacco.

Every year 10-16 million Americans put their health at risk by using smokeless tobacco products.

Oral Health America's National Spit Tobacco Education Program (NSTEP) is putting on the 2013 NSTEP Slogan Contest on the health consequences of using spit tobacco.

In ten words or less, Little League and softball players 14 and under can win a trip to the Little League Baseball World Series, plus $500 cash.

Officials rules can be found by clicking here.

The deadline is July 1.
