Brothers arrested in connection with multiple burglaries in Marcy, Deerfield and Trenton

MARCY, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two brother have been arrested and charged after police say they are suspects in a number of daytime burglaries in Marcy, Deerfield and Trenton.

New York State Police say that homes in those towns were broken into. Jewelry and electronics were reportedly stolen from each residence.

After a three-month investigation, State Troopers arrested 24-year-old Mark Russitano and 22-year-old Christopher Russitano, both of Utica. They are both charged with burglary.

They were both charged in connection with a burglary that occurred on November 3 at a residence on Irish Road in Marcy. A neighbor noticed suspicious activity while it was occurring and called police.

Some of the stolen items in these burglaries has been recovered. Both men were arraigned in the Town of Marcy Court and were sent to the Oneida County Jail on $50,000 bail.

The investigation is continuing and additional charges will be presented to an Oneida County Grand Jury.
