UTICA- Former City DPW Chief Stephen Patterson was acquitted Thursday on charges he hosted an illegal cabaret party at his east Utica club, "Pistol Pete's." A jury in Utica City Court also found another man, Willie Walker, not guilty of the misdeameanor charge and city ordinance violation.
Patterson says he's going to file a complaint in Federal Court to determine if police violated his rights in arresting him, and hold them accountable if that is found to be the case.
Stephen successfully defended himself against the charges.
