Man fires off several shots during domestic dispute; still on the loose

UNADILLA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Multiple police agencies are searching for a man they say pointed a gun at another person during a domestic dispute in Unadilla.

State Police say on Saturday, September 25th, they were called to a home at 212 Burrows Road in the town following reports of a domestic incident involving a firearm.

When they got there, they found 39 year-old Donald Lane Jr. involved in a fight with his live-in girlfriend and her adult daughter. During the fight, he pointed a shotgun at one of them and later fired off several rounds outside before fleeing into the woods.

State Police personnel including Aviation and K-9 units searched the wooded area surrounding the home, however Lane was not located.

There were no injuries. The investigation and search are continuing. A warrant of arrest has been issued for Lane for Menacing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the New York State Police at Sidney at (607) 561-7400.
