By JOLEEN FERRIS

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - The man who robbed a Herkimer smoke shop while wearing an Albert Einstein mask has pleaded guilty to the crime.

Shane Lynch pleaded guilty Thursday morning in Herkimer County Court to third-degree robbery with respect to the Smoker Friendly store on Main Street.

He robbed the store back in October 2011, something Lynch's attorney said was an impulsive decision made while under the influence of drugs.

Shane Lynch is expected to be sentenced to 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison.
