UPD: Man rents out someone else's apartment, collects money

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man is accused of renting out an apartment that didn't belong to him. Utica Police say George Lester was collecting money without the knowledge of the landlord.

Lester is accused of renting out a vacant apartment at a two family home on Boyce Avenue, without the knowledge or consent of the landlord. Police say Lester stole more than $4000 in rent.

Lester is charged with grand larceny in the fourth degree, a Class E felony.
