UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Five people have been arrested following a police raid on Genesee Street overnight. More than a dozen officers could be seen through the second floor windows above a row of businesses which turned out to be the illegal operation of a nightclub, according to police.

According to the Utica Police Department, the following people were arrested for various reasons:

- Simeon Bell, age 38, of Steuben Street in Utica Unlawful possession of marijuana

- Nelson Irizzary, age 20, of Miller Sreet in Utica Criminal possession of marijuana

- Hylton Chambers, age 40, of Sunset Avenue in Utica
Unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a cabaret/nightclub without a license, allowing alcohol consumption on premise without a license. *Chambers was also arrested on an Immigration warrant.

- Clifton Tracey, age 36, of Steuben Street in Utica
Operating a cabaret/nightclub without a license, allowing alcohol consumption on premise without a license.

- Michael Goddard, age 42, Whitesboro Street in Utica
NYS Parole Warrant

Also located inside the premise was a handgun and a long barrel gun. The investigation into the weapons possession is continuing.
