Utica Police make two drug arrests

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two men face drug charges following two separate traffic stops in Utica.

The first happened on Friday. Utica Police arrested James Becker, 47, of New Hartford. Police say they found "crack" cocaine when they pulled him over in the area of Francis Street and Oswego Street. Becker faces two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

On Saturday, police say Mark Schrader,44, of Utica was in possession of cocaine and marijuana when they pulled him over on Herkimer Road. Schrader is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 5th degree (a class d felony), *criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree (misdemeanor), and unlawful possession of marijuana.
