Chenango County man accused of pointing shotgun at person during argument

GREENE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Chenango County man has been charged with menacing after authorities say he pointed a shotgun at someone during an argument.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, Fredward E. Robertson, 63, of the Town of Greene was involved in an altercation with another person on September 8 when he allegedly pointed a 12 gauge shotgun at the victim.

Robertson was taken into custody without incident and charged with second-degree menacing. He was processed and arraigned in the Town of Oxford Court and released on his own recognizance.

He is scheduled to reappear in court at a later date.
