Edward L. Atkins Jr., 55, of Kirkville was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon for possessing five or more firearms, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon for possessing a rifle and having previously been convicted of a felony or serious offense. He was processed at the Sullivan State Police Station, arraigned before the Town of Sullivan Court, and remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $100,000 cash or $200,000 bail bond.
