WATERTOWN, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Rome man who owns the Tebb's Headshop chain throughout Central New York appeared in State Supreme Court in Watertown on Thursday morning.

Owner John Tebbetts III is the owner of a lawsuit filed by the New York State Attorney General's Office for selling synthetic drugs in his stores.

Last month, head shops across the state were raided in a simultaneous bust.

While Tebbett's stores remain open, his case has been adjourned to September 27.
