Port Leyden man charged, accused of sex with child under age 11

PORT LEYDEN, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Port Leyden man has been charged after authorities say he engaged in sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 11.
According to New York State Police, Frank J. Mann, 50, of Port Leyden has been charged with one count of predatory sexual assault against a child.
Mann was arraigned at the Town of Lowville court and remanded to the Lewis County Jail without bail. State Police said it is alleged that Mann engaged in sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 11 years old.
The investigation was conducted by State Police Investigator Todd Grant, who is currently assigned to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center in conjunction with Oneida County and Lewis County Child Protective, the Lewis County District Attorneys Office and members of SP Lowville.
The victim has been offered services through the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.
