State Police search for 3 year old dog stolen from home in Clay

CLAY, N.Y. (WKTV) - New York State Police are searching for a 3 year-old dog (black Labrador/Shepard mix) that was stolen from a residence in the Town of Clay.

Authorities say that around 3 p.m. on June 7, 2012, "Bella", a 3 year old black Labrador mix, with a thin strip of white on her chest, a little white patch under her jaw and longer black hair down her neck was stolen from a residence off Gaskin Road in the Town of Clay.

Troopers arrested 18 year-old, Brittany K. Euson, of Syracuse for the crime and charged her with second-degree burglary, but the dog was not recovered.

State Police say it is possible that the person who currently has the dog is not aware that the dog was stolen. If the dog is returned, authorities say no charges will be filed against that person.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact State Police in Lysander at 315-638-8200.
