Utica man arrested in Chenango County for alleged sale of heroin

NORWICH, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man has been charged in Chenango County after what authorities say was a lengthy investigation into the sale of heroin.

Christopher R. Cox, 31, of Utica has now been charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division along with the City of Norwich Police Department closed out what they say was a lengthy investigation into the sales of Heroin in the Chenango County area with the arrest of Cox, who authorities say is a New York State Parolee.

Cox was arraigned in the Village of Sherburne Court and remanded to the Chenango County Correctional Facility on $10,000 cash bail.
