RAY BROOK, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a man whose wife disappeared 30 years ago in upstate New York has been charged with killing her. They say 62-year-old Thomas Collard of Samson, Ala., told cold case investigators on Tuesday that he killed June Collard in 1980 and got rid of her body. June Collard was 30 years old went she missing in Olmstedville, an Adirondacks community about 80 miles north of Albany. A New York judge issued a warrant for her husband's arrest on a charge of second-degree murder. He's being held Wednesday in the Geneva County, Ala., Jail. Police are expected to release more details later in the day. Alabama and New York authorities didn't immediately return phone calls and it isn't known if Collard has a lawyer.
