Fugitive of the Week: Louie Wright turns himself in

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - U.S. Marshals received a tip just ten minutes after seeing Louie Wright featured as the Fugitive of the Week, and now Wright is in custody.

According to Jamie Farrington of the U.S. Marshals Office, Wright's family saw him featured on the segment and immediately contact Utica Police to arrange for Wright to self-surrender late Thursday afternoon.

Farrington said that 11 fugitives have been featured on the segment thus far, and of those 11, seven are currently in custody.

Another fugitive being sought after - Willie Bennett - has been located, and authorities are working on taking him into custody. Of the three remaining subjects, the U.S. Marshals office said it continues to receive viable leads on two of them and should have captures soon.
