UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities are looking for information that might lead to the arrest of a wanted sex offender who is being featured as this week's "Fugitive of the Week."

According to Jamie Farrington of the U.S. Marshal's Office, Kisle Vines, 21, is wanted by the NYS Division of Parole Violation of Conditions of Parole, as well as the Utica Police Department for second-degree criminal contempt and failure to report an address change by a registered sex offender.

Farrington said Vines is on parole as the result of an April 2009 conviction of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Vines, who also spells his name "kyle A. Vines," is required to register as a sex offender in New York State due to a January 2006 conviction for sexual misconduct.

U.S. Marshalls describe Vines as a black male with brown eyes and black hair.

He has several tattoos, including:

*one on his back which reads "hood Breed" with flames
*"DBD" with a crown on his right forearm
*a cross with the word "destiny" on his chest
*the word "prodigy" on his left forearm
*unknown writing on both his left forearm and left hand

Authorities ask that if you have observed Vines, or know of his whereabouts, do not attempt to approach him. Instead, they ask that you call 911, or the NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force at 315-690-1834, or the NY State Division of Parole Absconder Unit at 315-534-6564 or the Utica Police Department Warrants Unite at 315-223-3580.
