FUGITIVE OF THE WEEK: Christopher Spratt

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Authorities are looking for your help in finding a fugitive who they say struck a victim in the face with a staple gun before stealing from them on Christmas Day.

According to Deputy U.S. Marshal Jamie Farrington, Christopher J. Spratt, 30, is currently wanted by the Utica Police Department and the New York / New Jersey Fugitive Task Force on an arrest warrant for second-degree robbery.

It is alleged that around 1 a.m. on December 25, 2009, Spratt and another individual struck a victim in the face several times with a staple gun. Farrington said that the duo then ripped off a neck chain the victim was wearing and stole their keys. It is said to have happened on the 1600 block of Whitesboro Street in Utica.

Spratt is described as a black male, 6 feet tall with 200 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, and a scar on his left cheek.
