Duo accused of embezzling from Polish Community Club

LITTLE FALLS, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two men have been charged with grand larceny after authorities say they used money for personal gain that belonged to a club they were both members of.

According to New York State Police, Ronald G. Uhlig, 55, of Herkimer and Paul M. Sadlon, 67 of Little Falls have been charged with third-degree grand larceny following a join investigation by State Police in Herkimer, the New York State Gaming Commission Charitable Gaming Enforcement Unit and the City of Little Falls Police.

Authorities say both men, who were members at the Polish Community Club of Little Falls, are accused of taking money for personal gain from a gaming account held by the club during the years of 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Uhlig and Sadlon were both arraigned in the City of Little Falls Court, and have been released on their own recognizance.

Both men are scheduled to re-appear in the City of Little Falls Court at a later date.
