HERKIMER, N.Y. (AP) - Investigators scouring cellphone records of the man who fatally shot four people in Mohawk and Herkimer found no calls from family or friends in the seven months before the killings. Police are still trying to determine why 64-year-old Kurt Myers opened fire last month at John's Barbershop in Mohawk and Gaffey's Car Care in Herkimer. Two others were wounded in the March 13 shootings. Myers has been described as a loner and authorities say that most of the 150 to 200 phone calls Myers received on his TracFone since September were from creditors seeking to collect on more than $21,000 in credit card debt. One call came just an hour before the rampage. Myers died in a police shootout the next day following a 20+ hour standoff with authorities in the former Glory Days bar on North Main Street in Herkimer. (Copyright 2013 The Associated Press.
