Police: Dolgeville man leaving domestic dispute facing numerous charges

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Dolgeville man that police say was leaving the scene of a domestic dispute with his girlfriend is now facing numerous charges, including aggravated DWI.

Dolgeville Police say that Allan M. Pomeroy, 30, of the village, was leaving the scene of the domestic when he was stopped on South Main Street in Dolgeville for speeding around 12:35 a.m. on Thursday, August 16. Police say he was found to be driving with a suspended driver's license for a previous DWI Arrest.

He has been charged with aggravated DWI, Felony DWI, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, speeding, failure to keep right, and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Pomeroy was remanded to the Herkimer County Corrections Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bail bond.
