Police: Ilion woman charged under Leandra's Law

ILION, N.Y. (WKTV) - An Ilion woman is facing multiple charges, including aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law after police say she was driving drunk with a minor in the car.

According to the Ilion Police Department, Amy L. Trevor, 32, of Ilion has been charged with DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08% or greater, and three counts of aggravated DWI under Leandra's Law.

The arrest stems from a police investigation into a domestic dispute at a John Street residence.

Police say Trevor was leaving the scene with her three children in the car and when her vehicles was stopped, she was found to be intoxicated.

She was arraigned in the Village of Ilion Court where bail was set and she is scheduled to re-appear in the Village of Ilion Court on December 13 at 5 p.m.
