Police: man used car to cause damage to Firemen's Field

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Middleville man is facing charges after police say he caused damage to a field in Dolgeville with his car, and was also found to have drugs in his possession.

According to Dolgeville Police, Jordan S. Gross, 22, of Middleville, has been charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police say Gross caused damage to the Firemen's Field in Dolgeville by spinning his car in circles on the field, tearing up the grass. Police said Gross was also found to be in possession of more than two ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Manheim Court on June 20 at 7 p.m.
