Police: Girl missing from Syracuse found safe in Utica

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A teenage girl who had been reported missing in the Syracuse area and thought to be in the City of Utica or surrounding areas, has been found safe, authorities said Tuesday.

Jessica Clarke, 15, was last seen in the area of Thompson Road and Salt Springs Road in Syracuse on December 29. Syracuse Police said she was a runaway from the Elmcrest Children's Center and family believed she was with another girl headed toward the Utica area.

On Tuesday, Syracuse Police said Clarke was found in safe condition in the Utica area and the search had been called off.

No other details were available.
