Missing woman located in Rome

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - State Police have located 48-year-old Tammy Curry in Rome. Curry had been missing since leaving the Rome Memorial Hospital last week. Police say she has been safely returned to her family.

New York State Police are hoping the public might have information that can lead them to a woman they say left a hospital on Wednesday, January 11 and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

According to State Police in Sylvan Beach, Tammy L. Curry, 48, was admitted to the Rome Memorial Hospital on January 11, 2012. Authorities say she apparently left the hospital shortly after her arrival and she has not made any reported contact with her friends or family since that time.

Curry is described as a white female, 5 foot 1 inches tall and weighs 130 lbs. She has blond hair and brown eyes. She was last known to be staying in the Village of Sylvan Beach with the friends who initially took her to the hospital and who have now reported her missing.
