UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Brian Viscusie, 40, of Utica has been charged with third-degree assault.

Viscusie is accused of throwing his girlfriend down a flight of stairs on January 24, 2011. During the fall, police said the victim sustained a collasped lung, broken ribs and claimed to have lost consciousness.
