UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Sheiknoor Hassan Barake, 40, of Utica, is accused of causing injury to his one year old son and his wife. Barake is charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child. Barake's wife and mother of the child told police the baby spilled juice and Barake slapped the child in the eye. Earlier in the day, police responded to their Taylor Avenue home for a domestic dispute. Police say at that time, Barake punched his wife in the face. Barake faces harassment charges for this incident.
