Janelle Woods, 21, of Utica, was arrested after Utica police officers responded to a Utica residence for a domestic incident. They met several females who were friends and relatives. The officers were told that the group of woman went out for the night and during the night an altercation took place. The group split up but met later at their home on Bleecker St. While there, the altercation continued and one woman struck her friend. The officers seperated the woman and one of them, agreed to leave for the evening to avoid further problems. While the officers were escorting her outside her relative threw a glass jar at her and struck her in the head. The officers attempted to take the woman into custody but she fought with the officers and resisted arrest. During her arrest she kicked the officers before being taken into custody.
