Robert Dexter, 51, of Columbia Street, Utica was arrested after police responded to Rite Aid on Genesee Street, in regards to man with a baseball bat threatening a loss prevention employee.
It is alleged that Dexter stole a store item value at $1.49. When Dexter was confronted by a loss prevention employee he pulled out a baseball bat and raise it in a threatening manner.
Dexter is charged with:
Menacing in the second degree
Petit larceny
Harassment in the second degree
