On April 13, members of the Utica's Drug Metro Unit and Special Operations arrested two persons for drug possession. At around 2:25 pm, officers conducted a traffic stop of a motor vehicle on the 1100 block of Howard Avenue. Officer James Holt would arrest Rhodessa Adorno (age 38, of Grove Place, Utica), who was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and improper signal Durrel Dow (age 36, of Howard Avenue, Utica) was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and consumption of an alcoholic beverage with a motor vehicle.
