On April 15, Utica police officers were dispatched to Mohawk Valley Community College regarding a drug investigation. Campus security told police that they have received complaints about drug sales coming from one of the dorm rooms and found ecstasy and marijuana. Utica Police arrest Walter Safford (age 20, of Utica, formally of Albany) and charged him with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana.
