On April 9, Utica police officers were dispatched to Price Chopper- 1917 Genesee Street, regarding a fight in the lot.
When officers arrived they observed a white sedan pulling off, north through the lot, and a person leaping through the passenger side window. The person's body from the waist down did not make it into the vehicle and was hanging out. That person was later identified as Amado Heredia (age 42, of South Street, Utica).

When she got into her vehicle, Amado proceeded to get on the hood of her car. He then walked around to the passenger side and jumped through the open window as she was driving off. The wife stopped to avoid injury to Amado.
Heredia was arrested and charged with:
-Criminal contempt in the second degree.
Heredia was booked on the charge and brought to the judge for arraignment.
