When officers arrived they observed a white sedan pulling off, north through the lot, and a person leaping through the passenger side window. The person's body from the waist down did not make it into the vehicle and was hanging out. That person was later identified as Amado Heredia (age 42, of South Street, Utica). Police learned from Heredia's estranged spouse that she has an Oneida County Supreme Court "stay away" order of protection against her husband- Amado. The wife stopped to avoid injury to Amado. Heredia was arrested and charged with: -Criminal contempt in the second degree. Heredia was booked on the charge and brought to the judge for arraignment.
