On May 3, 2011, Utica police officers responded to 135 Gold Street, in regards to a domestic incident/order of protection violation. Police officers would speak to the female complainant, who told police that her ex-boyfriend- Roger Joseph (age 20, of St. Jane Avenue, Utica) unlawfully entered her home through an unlocked door, and while inside he started asking her what guys she has been with. At the time that Joseph allegedly entered the home of the female, she had an active order of protection against him, directing him to stay away from the victim and her home. Additional the order stated that he was to refrain from any communication with the protected person. According to the complainant, once Joseph left her home, he called her several times and text messaged her. Later in the day Officer Dzenan Sabanovic would arrest Joseph and charge him with: =Criminal contempt in the second degree, and =Criminal trespass in the second degree.
