Officers from the UPD Special Operations Unit were patrolling the area of Elizabeth St. when they observed a vehicle in violation of the vehicle and traffic law. After stopping the vehicle the officers approached the vehicle, and the driver pulled away and into a driveway. The officers followed after the vehicle and when they contacted the owner, they saw an object in his hand that he was trying to hide. They believed this object to be drugs. The officers then attempted to take him into custody and he refused to be handcuffed. The officers were able to handcuff him and found crack cocaine.

Resisting Arrest-misdemeanor
