2 North Country men arrested for burglary

Remsen, NY (WKTV) - The New York State Police in Remsen, N.Y. have been investigating two commercial burglaries that occurred overnight on October 5 , 2010.  

The Smith Insurance Agency and Stinger’s Bar, both located on Main Street, were forcibly entered and multiple items were stolen from within both establishments.

The investigation has led to the following two men being arrested: On October 5, 2010 Tpr. Aaron Vaber arrested ANDREW J. AMO, age 22, of 9714 Harris Rd. Lee Center, N.Y. and charged him with one count of Burglary in The Third Degree (Felony). He was arraigned in the Town of Remsen Court and was committed to the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.  

On today’s date, Tpr. Christopher Tanoury and Tpr. John Fitzgerald arrested CODY J. DARLING, age 18 , of 9798 Prospect Street , Remsen , N.Y. and charged him with two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree ( Felony). He was arraigned in the Town of Remsen Court and was committed to the Oneida County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are possible.
