Day Nine of search and still no sign of Baby Levon
UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - Thursday marks Day Nine of the search for nine month old Levon Wameling, who went missing from the city of Utica more than three weeks ago and still, no sign of the child. Police continue to search what they call the high probability areas as well as some areas outside of the immediate Jay Street area where the child was last seen. Officers were seen near the Adirondack Bank building in Utica on Wednesday afternoon going through dumpsters, causing many residents nearby to question if they had found something. Utica Police say they are merely being thorough and following up on every lead they receive. In an off-camera interview on Wednesday, the baby's father, Jevon Wameling said the reason he waited two weeks to report his child missing because he didn't want to have to tell the mother that he lost their son. He also said he has been out looking for this child and hanging flyers with Levon's photo on them. If you have any information on the whereabout of Levon Wameling, you are asked to call authorities at 1-800-THE-LOST.
