Man accused of forcibly raping 14 year old girl flees police when confronted

PAMELIA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Dexter man is facing charges after authorities say he forcibly raped a 14 year old girl on two different occasions.

According to New York State Police in Watertown, Alfred R. Heise, 45, of Dexter, has been charged with first-degree rape, endangering the welfare of a child and resisting arrest.

Heise is accused of forcibly raping a 14 year old girl in Dexter on two occasions, identified by date as February and April of 2011. The State Police responded to his place of employment, and Heise fled the business into a heavily wooded area just north of Route 12, between Murrock Circle, and Wayside Drive in the Town of Pamelia.

State Police established a perimeter with the assistance of the the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Department of Environmental Conservation Police.

Heise was subsequently taken into custody in the wooded area, arraigned in the Town of Pamelia Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail in Lieu of $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond.
