Two Rome women accused of stealing $700+ worth of video games

ROME, N.Y. (WKTV) - Two women from the City of Rome are facing charges after authorities say they stole more than $700 worth of merchandise from the Rome Wal-Mart.

According to Oneida County Sheriff's Office, Amy J. Tennant, 24, of Rome and Jamie L. Thompson, 35, also of Rome were arrested on Sunday, December 16 by Sheriff's Deputies after authorities say they were caught by the Wal-Mart Asset Protection team stealing merchandise.

Investigators say the duo stole $767.21 worth of merchandise, mainly Xbox 360 and Playstation video games.

Tennant and Thompson were released on appearance tickets returnable to the City of Rome Court at a later date.
