Two women, juvenile arrested following theft at Sangertown Mall

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - New Hartford Police has announced the arrest of three females following a theft, Saturday night.
According to Police, at about 7:30 p.m. officers responded to Sears in the Sangertown Square Mall where it had been reported that three females were stealing bags full of merchandise. 
Following an investigation of the scene, officers arrested of three females, two adults and one juvenile, for felony grand larceny after it was determined that the three had acted together to steal over $1000 in clothing and footwear. 
Video surveillance of the trio showed that the two adult defendants were encouraging and assisting the juvenile in the commission of the theft. Sears officials say each suspect walked out of the store with bags full of stolen merchandise. 
Jakya B.S. Reed, 16, of Syracuse, and Hope L. Foster, 18, of Utica, have both been charged with Grand Larceny and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
A 14-year old female, of Camden, is also charged with Grand Larceny, but her name is being withheld due to age.
During a search of the suspects subsequent to their arrest, numerous other stolen articles from other mall stores were recovered. 
Additional charges may be pending against all three suspects.
