Utica man accused of selling crack out of Herkimer motel

HERKIMER, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Utica man has been charged after police say he was selling crack cocaine out of a Herkimer motel.

According to Herkimer Police, Rasheen K. Bellinger, 27, of Utica has been charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance.

The arrest comes after the Herkimer Police Special Response Team executed a 'no knock' search warrant at the Budget Inn on Mohawk Street in Herkimer on Monday afternoon and confiscated drugs, a scale, and packaging material.

Bellinger was arraigned and committed to the Herkimer County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.

The Herkimer Police were assisted by the Herkimer County District Attorney's Office in the investigation.
