Caseworker facing allegations of child porn released on his own recognizance

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A caseworker with Oneida County Child Protective Services who is facing child porn charges is now out of police custody.

Stanley Dorozynski, of Frankfort is a former Utica Police officer who was currently working for child protective services in Oneida County when he was charged with receiving and possessing child pornography.

Dorozynski could face 5 to 20 years in prison and will have to register as sex offender if convicted.

He appeared in court Thursday where the judge released him for now on his own recognizance. The judge ruled upon the release with certain conditions which were not specified, but he did not have to post bail.
