Former bookkeeper at insurance agency indicted on 27 counts

UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A former bookkeeper at an Insurance agency in the City of Utica has been indicted by a grand jury on 27 different counts.

Karen Wilson, of Utica, has been accused of stealing more than $50,000 from Nackley Insurance, where she was employed, in order to pay credit card bills and other expenses.

According to the Oneida County District Attorney's Office, Wilson was indicted by a grand jury on one count of second-degree grand larceny, 13 counts of second-degree forgery, and 13 counts of first-degree falsifying business records.

She will appear in Oneida County Court for an arraignment at a later date.
