Man charged with DWI after car collides with tree
NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. (WKTV) - A Clinton man has been charged with DWI after police say his car collided with a tree over the weekend in New Hartford. Police say that around 2:19 p.m. on Saturday, David M. Sousa, 45, of Clinton was traveling south on Woods Highway in New Hartford when his car left the roadway and collided with a tree. He suffered minor facial injuries as a result of the crash. Sousa was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated. He was processed, arraigned and sent to the Oneida County Jail in lieu of bail.
