UTICA, N.Y. (WKTV) - A man convicted of leaving the scene of an accident that killed a woman 13 years ago was back in front of a judge on Tuesday and was formally charged with aggravated DWI.

New Hartford Police say Scott Zimmer's blood alcohol content was .20 when he was pulled over in March for not staying in his lane.

He's due back in court June 18 to file motions.

Zimmer served four months of weekends in jail back in 2000 for leaving the scene of a fatal accident. It was never determined if he was drunk because he fled the state.
